I hold a Doctoral Degree in Health Science from the AT Still Osteopathic Medical University and a Master's Degree in Public Health, with a concentration in Disaster Medicine. Additionally, I am a Certified Industrial Hygienist, along with being a Certified Safety Professional. My areas of expertise are the chemistry of hazardous materials and chemical microscopy.
Using state of the art microscope techniques, along with Nikon Optiphot Polarizing and Phase Contrast Microscopy, I can offer rapid turnaround of samples. I am trained at the prestigious McCrone Institute in Chicago, Illinois in asbestos fiber identification, mold spore analysis and forensic microscopy.
Additionally I offer a graduate level microscopy course detailing optical alignment, Kohler illumination, optics cleanliness and specimen preparation. Classroom is limited to 15 students. Each student has their own Nikon microscope along with the laboratory experience of preparing stained slides.
Students are provided instruction on the binocular compound microscope, the polarized light microscope, the phase contrast microscope, the darkfield microscope and the stereo microscope. Each student reviews 50 assorted slides of invertebrate, vertebrate, mold, asbestos and geological specimens.
The spacious 1000 square foot lecture classroom comfortably seats 25 students replete with a lounge area equipt with refreshments and Wireless Internet Service. A 72" flatscreen television with a 1000 watt speaker system is more that adequate to ensure all lecture material will be clearly seen, heard and comprehended.
My company and school are based on the belief that my customers' needs are of the utmost importance. As a result of that belief, I am thoroughly
committed to meeting those needs. As a consequence of that doctrine, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.
I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver to you, the best service in the industry.
